With more than 30 years of lawyering under her belt, and now retired from the practice of law, Anne describes herself as a “recovering attorney.” Anne’s unique plot twists come from a fertile imagination honed by those long years of experience.
The first draft of Death by Romance was written 20 years ago and it wasn’t until Anne retired that she dusted off the manuscript, updated it to remove reference to such things as pay phones (when was the last time you saw one of those), and finished it. Now she’s working on the sequel and pretty sure it won’t take 20 years to finish.
When Anne’s not writing, she dabbles in photography—she’s even had a show or two, makes scrapbooks for her two adorable-to-the-tenth-power granddaughters, hangs out with the grandkids, and travels. Although Anne has traveled extensively from the Arctic Circle to Tierra del Fuego, and from Europe to Asia, she loves adventure travel most. Anne has climbed The Great Wall of China and been on safari in Africa. Anne and her husband have hiked the Inca Trail in Peru, and explored the Amazon basin and Patagonia. Anne’s next adventure is India and Nepal.
Anne lives in Richmond, Virginia, with her husband Dale who is an all-around great guy and fabulous cook (mostly in self-defense since Anne is useless in the kitchen) and two very friendly Ragdoll cats Grady and Elliott.
Anne is a proud member of eNovel Authors at Work. Check out her author page on Amazon where you can follow her latest blog posts and see what she’s up to.
